Each year, the Construction Institute honors one man and one woman within the AEC/O industry for their contributions as role models who mentor and support women and others in the industry and whose personal dedication improves the industry. The 2025 Champions of Change awardees will be announced soon.

Learn more about past awardees!

The Construction Institute is an AIA Registered Provider, CCM Recertification Point Provider and NYS approved sponsor of CE - NYS sponsor # 9040. Program attendees wishing to receive AIA Continuing Education Learning Units and/or CCM Renewal Points should contact admin@construction.org.

This year, CI has the honor of working with the Western MA affiliate of Dress for Success. Donate your gently used, nearly-new professional attire and furnish another woman with the confidence to enter or return to the workplace, make a great first impression and land a job that could change her life. A collection table will be near the CI Registration Desk, where you will have the opportunity to speak with Diane Jacobs, Community Engagement Manager, and learn more about the Dress for Success network.

What is appropriate to donate?
What would you wear to a job interview? That is exactly the type of clothing Dress for Success is looking for to distribute to their clients! Donate your gently used, nearly-new professional attire:

  • Interview appropriate suits
  • Interview appropriate blouses
  • Professional separates including blouses, slacks, skirts, blazers and jackets
  • Work appropriate shoes
  • Jewelry and scarves
  • Handbags

Many of their clients go directly to an interview, so please ensure that all items donated are freshly dry-cleaned / laundered and ironed, not more than 5 years old, and suitable for wearing to job interviews.
