Bruce M. Kellogg

Principal, Senior Vice President - JCJ Architecture

Bruce M. Kellogg, AIA, LEED AP is a Principal and Project Director at JCJ Architecture. He has held various corporate and oversight roles at JCJ, however it is the breadth of his knowledge and depth of experience for which he is best known throughout the industry. Bruce has led a variety of planning and design projects throughout the United States and Mexico that include an impressive list of developments in higher education, public schools, health care, assisted living, civic, municipal, manufacturing, hospitality and entertainment. He is an empathetic professional who understands that his work can profoundly enhance the quality of individual lives while strengthening the fabric of communities and cities. His high standards of integrity and professionalism, along with his deep commitment to family and community, are the factors that drive him to demand excellence from all members of his project teams - from Owners to colleagues and consultants. The strength of his professional relationships and wealth of knowledge, in addition to his understated manner and dry sense of humor, have made him a trusted advisor to clients and a sought after mentor to young and peer professionals.


Bruce’s fundamental passion for the nuances of project delivery, combined with his commitment to mentoring individuals in the profession, naturally led him to the role of Project Manager/Director, a position he has held throughout his 30 years with JCJ Architecture. Bruce has contributed significantly to a collective dialogue around the A/E/C industry throughout his career, including his notable involvement as Chair of the Construction Institute Program Committee. One of his major efforts with the Institute has included enhancement of industry and discipline-wide collaboration on the betterment of project outcomes. From a local community perspective, he has been actively involved in the Town of Vernon Design Review and is currently serving on the Vernon Economic Development Commission.


A New England native, Bruce holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Wentworth Institute of Technology. He is a member of the American Institute of Architects, a licensed Architect and Interior Designer with the State of Connecticut, and a LEED Accredited Professional.
