Instructor Bio



Jean Mix, Founder, Mix Education Services, LLC

Jean Mix is the Founder of Mix Education Services LLC. She has more than 20 years of experience in corporate training and educational services working for The Travelers, Hartford Insurance Company, CIGNA and Untapped Potential. Jean has a passion for enhancing employee performance in the workplace and beyond. She has served a variety of clients, customizing educational sessions to meet customer needs. Her areas of expertise include corporate communications, change management, transitioning back to work, negotiation skills, team building, conflict management, and executive coaching. She has a Master’s of Science Degree in Corporate and Technical Communications from Rensselaer at Hartford and a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration specializing in Marketing from Marquette University. She believes that small adjustments making a huge difference in life and is a true lifelong learner.

Continuing Educational Credit

Construction Institute is an AIA Registered Provider.  Course attendees are eligible to receive 0.4 Continuing Education Units and/or 4 AIA Continuing Education Learning Units, verified through certificates of attendance, which are sent to participants after completion of workshop and assessment.


Course attendees wishing to receive AIA Continuing Education Learning Units should check in at the sign-in desk and fill out the appropriate attendance form(s) to receive credit.
