Brandon Stevens, Commissioning Provider, is the newest addition to BVH’s commissioning department. Stevens will manage the validation services provided by BVH, and will assist in the commissioning of a diverse portfolio of projects. Brandon has more than 11 years of commissioning, validation, and project management experience, and brings a wealth of knowledge in the pharmaceutical industry that includes cleanrooms, laboratories, warehousing, environmental test chambers, ultra-low temperature freezers, and freeze dryers. His experience includes both equipment and overall facility systems.

Prior to joining BVH, Stevens performed equipment commissioning and validation at SCA  Pharmaceuticals, MannKind Corporation, and Bahnson Environmental Specialties. He also provided services to a large variety of other companies including Pfizer, Vertex, AstraZeneca, Bristol-Meyers Squibb, Genzyme, and Bausch and Lomb. Additionally, as a licensed Commercial Refrigeration and HVAC Contractor for more than 18 years, Brandon’s experience includes the retail, supermarket, and restaurant industries.

“The addition of Brandon to our commissioning team corresponds to our department’s growth strategy, expanding our services to include validation. His extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry will allow BVH to provide our clients with a more comprehensive level of service,” says Lindsay Huff, CCP, LEED AP, Director of Commissioning. A new service offering at BVH, validation is the process used by the pharmaceutical industry to ensure equipment and facilities are suitable to use per FDA regulations and user requirement specifications. Commissioning is one part of the overall validation process.

Brandon is currently working with BVH’s commissioning team on the Innovation Partnership Building at the UConn Storrs Campus, a 114,000-SF building designed to be UConn’s premier center for cutting-edge research, industry collaboration, and innovation.
