Announcing Three(3) NEW Certificates in Sustainable Design and Construction! (click for a complete detailed list of all Workshops)
The Construction Institute announces three(3) NEW Certificate Programs in Sustainable Design and Construction for the Spring 2011 Semester. The three certificates target different aspects of the builing industry - whether it's design and construction, ownership and operations or community relations.
While the focus of each of the certificates is varied, all segments of the building industry - owners, facility operators, design professionals, constractors, subcontractors, construction managers, educators and community leaders - will benefit from the workshops that are being offered. The certificates aim to target the skills and knowledge that are required for successful outcomes in these areas.
Participants earn a certificate by completing seven(7) workshops in one of the three(3) programs and attending a general colloquium on Sustainable Design and the Building Project. Core courses and electives are offered in each program. Participants will be required to choose two(2) of the four(4) Core Workshop Requirements and five(5) Electives - three(3) from the selected Certificate Program and two(2) from any program.
