
Joseph H. Greenier

Joe Greenier is well known in the building industry as a highly motivated team builder with many accomplishments in manufacturing and healthcare facilities and environmental management. During an exceptional career spanning over 25 years, he has managed numerous highly-visible construction projects, including three in China. In his current position as Director of Engineering at Saint Francis, Joe is responsible for managing all facilities operations for the 2.5 million sf, multi-site healthcare institution. Prior to joining Saint Francis, he worked at United Technologies for 12 years, including top facilities management positions at Pratt & Whitney, Hamilton Standard, and the UTC corporate office.
An active member of the Construction Institute for over 20 years, Joe currently serves as Chairman of the Board of Directors and is a member and former Chair of the Facilities Management Council. He is also an instructor for Facilities Construction & Project Management in the Institute's education workshop and has participated in many programs including Trust & Teamwork, Doing More with Less, and Security in a New Age.
Joe has a Masters Degree in Management from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, a BS degree in Industrial Technology from Central Connecticut State University, and an Associates degree in electrical engineering from Hartford State Technical College. He has also completed numerous professional training programs, such as Achieving Competitive Excellence (ACE), Managing & Leading Change in a Global Environment, Environmental Protective Systems, and Hazardous Waste & Environmental Management in Connecticut.
