Rick Warhall, Vice President, The Whiting-Turner Contracting Company

Rick Warhall is leading the way for the construction industry to focus on sustainability, environmental, and green building design. Rick is a LEED Accredited Professional, is currently on the Board of Directors of the Connecticut Green Building Council, and has served on several industry panels. During his 28 years in construction, Rick has made a profound impact through his active leadership, professional involvement and dedicated project management.
As a Vice-President of The Whiting-Turner Contracting Company in New Haven, CT, Rick manages large commercial construction projects, serves as the Director of Sustainability and the coordinator for the company's other LEED Accredited Professionals.
Rick currently serves on the Construction Institute's Program Committee and is a mentor for the Young Professionals Council. Previously, he served as Co-Chair of CI's EXPO Committee and was Chairman of the Program Committee.
Rick stands in front of one of the 100 trees Whiting-Turner is planting across the country in honor of the company's 100 year anniversary. Rick chose the New Haven Green for the location of his tree, as it is where he lives and works.
