Many career boiler plant operators have spent years or decades learning and practicing good operations methodology while on the job. Facing an exam in order to keep their status as valuable operations personnel for their employers should be a straight forward requirement.
This course will review the covered OE-2 exam material in a format that will lower the barriers to learning, build confidence for exam taking and install the underlying engineering theory and principles of good plant operations and safety.
Participants will see the base material required for the OE-2 License in a format that will help them organize their study time and efforts more efficiently. The material will be presented with a guide to the specific references outlined in the PE-2 DCP application including, but not limited to, boiler theory, operation, maintenance and safety, as well as refrigeration equipment theory and safety. Participants will learn the engineering theory and application of peripheral support equipment to these two main focus areas.
This 24-hour prepatory course will incorporate questions similar in nature to those that will be faced by its members when taking the OE-2 exam.
Each person will have a study guide and practice questions to take with them when they complete the course. All materials are provided.
