Outlook for North-Central Connecticut & Western Massachusetts
"Moving Forward...
Positioning for a Positive Future"

in North-Central Connecticut and Western Massachusetts along the Route 91 corridor
extending from the greater Hartford area into Springfield and Amherst.

8:30 - 11:00 a.m. ● Registration 7:45 a.m.
Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame,
Springfield, MA
This Regional Outlook will feature an economic overview, as well as highlight and define
on-going and future projects that are proposed for development along the I-91 Corridor,
with particular focus on the greater Hartford and Springfield areas.
Exploring both Public and Private sector markets, the panelists will draw upon a broad range
of experience to inform attendees of current economic trends in the area, discuss future
growth strategies and the opportunities that exist for potential work for their firms.
The program participants will provide a wide array of perspectives,
looking beyond today's headlines to uncover the economic drivers that will lead the recovery
that will inevitably follow the current economic downturn.
From higher education and health care, to public economic development organizations and private developers,
and finally to the public and private sources of financing, we will strive to understand the steps that members
of the A/E/C and Facilities communities are planning as we kick off 2009.
