Technology Committee
The Technology Committee supports the information technology needs of the Institute and its members and serves as a forum for the exchange of ideas and information on the latest practices, issues and problems concerning the application and use of technology in construction, operations, maintenance and facilities management.
The Construction Institute's Technology Committee was organized in response to the strong interest in productivity-enhancing technologies. Many of the latest breaking productivity and communication technologies are presented at the quarterly Technology Breakfasts that this committe produces.
Associated General Contractors (AGC) and Construction Institute members have joined forces in this single group to more efectively share information and stay up to date with todays rapidly chancing technology environment. Other Associations are welcome to join with this group for a free exchange of ideas and information.
The Technology Committee meets rotating between the Construction Institute at 260 Girard Avenue, Hartford, CT, on the University of Hartford’s Asylum Avenue Campus and the offices of the CCIA located at 912 Silas Deane Highway, Wethersfield, CT. Contact the Committee Chair or the Institute for details.
