About UsOur Mission: To connect the professionals who contribute to the design, construction, and operation of the built environment and to promote mutual action to improve the delivery and management of our nation’s facilities.
Our Vision: To be a leading knowledge network for the exchange of information and innovative ideas by creating stronger collaborative relationships among architects, engineers, constructors, owners and other industry stakeholders.

MORE ABOUT THE INSTITUTE:
In the belief that collaborative engagement is the breeding ground for growing knowledge, experience, and creative improvement in our industry, the Institute provides a neutral forum and a key resource for advancing ideas, knowledge, relationships and opportunities among architects, engineers, constructors, building owners and managers – including the many providers who support this core group.
Through programs, workshops, and a virtual knowledge network, the Institute facilitates contact among industry leaders in these professions to explore leading-edge practices and emerging ideas that are shaping our future. We are a real and virtual think-tank.
The Institute provides opportunities to share information, exchange innovative ideas, and build new relationships that enhance and integrate the delivery process through programs, educational workshops, and the CI knowledge network. Our members are the creators and caretakers of the built-environment.
The Construction Institute/University of Hartford is a non-profit, non-partisan association of diverse professionals working to improve the industry by sharing experiences and knowledge, advancing relationships, and developing business leaders.
