Matthew Chait graduated from Pennsylvania State University in December of 2007 with a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering. During college, Matthew had several internships with civil engineering firms and also worked as a construction laborer for a construction management firm. He began work at BVH Integrated Services in January of 2008 where he has worked since. Matthew has worked on a variety of public and private projects since joining BVH including work on many of the state university campuses, ESPN, Pratt and Whitney, Quinnipiac University and the UMass Boston Utility Corridor and Roadway project. Matthew’s focus has been on traditional civil engineering along with campus utility infrastructure work including steam, chilled water, electrical and communications.
Outside of work, Matthew has been involved with the ACE Mentoring program working to encourage high school students to enter the construction profession and with the Construction Institute on the 7th Annual Visionaries Forum.
