The Construction Institute/University of Hartford is a non-profit, non-partisan association of diverse professionals working to improve the industry by sharing experiences and knowledge, advancing relationships, and developing business leaders.
To be a leading knowledge network for the exchange of information and innovative ideas by creating stronger collaborative relationships among architects, engineers, constructors, owners and other industry stakeholders. In the belief that collaborative engagement is the breeding ground for growing knowledge, experience, and creative improvement in our industry, the Institute provides a neutral forum and a key resource for advancing ideas, knowledge, relationships and opportunities among architects, engineers, constructors, building owners and managers – including the many providers who support this core group.
What We Do
The Construction Institute is known for its dedicated and engaged membership, its high quality Programs, including the annual Visionaries Program, its practical Professional Education Workshops taught by experienced professionals, and meaningful opportunities for connecting with other dedicated industry professionals through committee work, speaking and writing opportunities, and networking through committee work and social events. The Construction Institute has a vibrant and growing has a virtual knowledge network. We are a real and virtual think-tank. The Institute provides opportunities to share information, exchange innovative ideas, and build new relationships. Our members are the creators and caretakers of the built-environment.
